Revit/3D Studio Room Design
Using Revit and 3D Studio Max 2014, I recreated the den of my house. Starting in Revit 2014, I created the foundation of the room, uncluding the floors, walls, and hallway. Afterwards, I added more complex things like windows, doors and the fireplace. I then began to add furniture models, such as recliners, a couch, a few tables, lamps and cabinets. Afterwards, I took the project to 3D Studio Max and added materials to everything accordingly. I also added lights to the light fixtures, and created a looping .gif to place onto the television to give it the effect of playing a show. Finally, I added a moving camera to demonstrate the entire room and uploaded it to YouTube, which can be seen below along with screenshots of the Revit designs.
